1984 BMW 535i Turbo

Engine/Transmission: We used the stock engine/ transmission from this car and rebuilt the bottom end with 10:1 compression pistons and had the head ported and polished with larger valves. We also had the intake and valve cover Powder coated. Other parts we used include:

  • JB Racing light weight flywheel
  • Sachs Heavy M5 clutch kit
  • BMP A/S Quick Shift Kit.
  • BMP Design Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
  • Fast injectors 36lbs
  • Completely custom Turbo kit using a Garrett GT35R
  • Custom headers, exhaust and other piping built by Arland
  • Custom built aluminum radiator, intercooler and oil cooler
  • Custom electric fan for better cooling
  • Miller mass air sensor
  • Stock ECU remap
  • BMP Euro Style Body KIt.

Brakes/ Suspension: For brakes we E34 M5 vented rotors, calipers and Akebone pads. Stainless steel brake lines and clutch line as well as ATE Super blue racing brake fluid. The suspension is a E28 Neo Motorsport Coilover. We also added powerflex control arm, trailing arm and subframe bushings and well as polyurethane rear shock mounts. Also added 23mm adjustable front sway bars and 18mm adjustable rear sway bars.

Details: The car sits on BMW Style 5 wheels 17×8 all around with Bridgestone Potenza. Front tire size is 225/45/17 and rear size is 245/40/17. The grill in the front has been blacked out and we have smoked all the lights on the exterior. The car has 2 10” JL audio subwoofers, alpine head unit and a compustart alarm system with tubro timer.

Interior: We used the E30 325is Recaro front seats and had the whole interior including carpet and trunk done by Degreeves Auto Upholstery. This interior was done in a two-tone grey and black. We finished it off with a Momo steering wheel, door sills and a ZHP shift knob.
