Rocky Mountain Motorsports require you provide a pre-track-day vehicle inspection to ensure your vehicle is safe for use.
A discounted inspection rate is on-offer from Sheni’s for track day registrants.
Your battery must be secured, most likely via a battery bar.
Often vehicles will fail their inspection due to dirty brake fluid, you might need a flush of your braking system. Brake pads must be in good condition also.
Suspension components cannot have any play or wear.
Tires – the most important safety feature of your car – must be in good condition with sufficient tread. Please do not show up wearing your winter tires.
It is best practice to show up with a full tank of fuel; 15+ laps of full-throttle driving consumes a lot of fuel.
Your cooling system must function as intended
We start at 4:30 with an in-classroom session to go over track rules, etiquette and safety instructions.
Jay Pringle of Track Techniques Driving School will be your main instructor, with over countless hours of track time and many years of in classroom instruction experience, you’re sure to leave a better driver.
The track time will be split into beginner, intermediate, or advanced – depending on the level of track experience you have.
We will have refreshments available.
We are aiming for 15-20 laps per person (this may change depending on how many people show up, and other factors. This is our first track day, so we cannot guarantee these numbers)
Having just opened this spring, Rocky Mountain Mostorsports’ Racetrack is the premier place to hone in your driving skills while safely pushing your car near its limits.
